What Is A Traffic Exchange?

A Traffic Exchange allows small business owners and individuals with non-business web sites tha ability of showing their sites to like minded individuals. Those that use traffic exchanges can be described as opportunity seekers, private website owners, and those in the Internet Marketing industry.

The concept is really very simple, I will look at your site as long as you agree to look at mine. The more sites you look at with our proprietary software the more times your site will be shown to other members. All this is done seemlessly so you can enjoy the experience and maybe bookmark a new site to visit every now or then.

You may be looking for a new business to get into. Hits Surf has that covered as well. You will see all kinds of biz-ops here, no doubt!

How Do I Join Hits Surf?

First, you must find a member of Hits Surf. Ask that member for their Referral URL so you can join and they can get credit for bringing you into the Hits Surf advertising system. Fill out all questions asked on the signup form. You will need to provide:

  • A Real First and Last Name (or company name)
  • A User Name
  • A Valid E-mail Address
  • A URL for placement into the Clicks For Hits System
  • A Generic Name for the URL above (something short and sweet)
  • You must review and agree to the Terms of Service before you can become a member

Failure to provide all requested information or providing false information will either prevent you from creating an account here or will get your account deleted (Without Notice) if you get past the signup process.

What is a Referral URL?

A Referral URL is a way for Hits Surf to track new members when assigning them to existing members. The reason why is because there are certain benifits a Hits Surf Member will get if they decide to take advantage of the Head Hunter Bonus.

You may have noticed Hits Surf does not allow new signups when a Refearral URL is not used. As far as I know, we are one of the few Traffic Exchanges that operate the sign-up process like this. We want you to get the credits for the sign-up! Not the Hits Surf default Member account.

Can I sign up for more than one member account?

No! Only one membership per person and/ or per IP Address is allowed. If duplicate or multiple accounts are found they will be deleted from the system ASAP! All data assoicated with the accounts will be lost forever!

Can Anybody Join Hits Surf?

No! The Admin of Hits Surf prefers everybody to be at least 18 years of age. Also, there may be other items that would exclude somebody in the Terms Of Service as well. Please do review the document before you join.

Can I advertise any web page?

No! The Admin of Hits Surf reserves the right to deny access to advertising certain web site resources. Simply put, do not put anything into the Hits Surf system that would offend and/or take advantage of my christian mother, grandmother and/or grand kids.

Let me narrow it down a little bit. This list is always subject to change without notice. Here is what Hits Surf does not want rotating here:

  • Framebreakers
  • JavaScript Alert Boxes
  • Fly-In Ads
  • Pop-ups that require user interaction to close or continue with the Click For Hits Interface
  • hate
  • warez
  • viruses
  • adult content
  • only auto surfs (combo Manual/Auto are okay)
  • investment surfs
  • ptp
  • HYIP
  • ponzi
  • pyramid

URL Rotators are okay to use here but are discouraged. It is best to use a link tracker with a fast loading web page loaded up in it. More details can be found elsewhere about this.

If your site(s) do not comply with the Terms of Service they will be deactivated. Members risk having their account deleted if they continually put non-allowed site URL(s) in rotation. I prefer to delete an account over having to be a babysitter for somebody.

What happens if I run out of credits?

When a Web Site URL, Banner and/or Text Ad runs out of credits they will no longer be displayed in rotation. you may earn more credits by using the Click For Hits interface or by purchasing more. Don’t forget, you will also get credits from your direct referrals activity as well. So, another way of getting more credits for the display of your advertising is introducing more members to the Hits Surf Advertising system.

What is the Report link for?

When a web site doesn’t load or it loads with content you know is not allowed here at Hits Surf you have the option of Reporting the URL. When you click the link in the Click For Hits Surfbar a page will open requesting your feedback. Please provide a short description about what you are reporting. You will be rewarded for all successful reports as a way of saying Thank You for caring enough to give your input.

Do I have to use the clicks for hits interface to get traffic from Hits Surf?

Well, yes and no. Allow me to explain.

when a new member signs up they are required to use the Clicks For Hits interface to fully activate the new account and start the flow of traffic to their web URL resource. We use this to qualify members and make shure they are not a robot signing up for a account when they stumble accross the signup form.

Those that are not members of Hits Surf can purchase advertising credits from any current Hits Surf Member and do not have to use the system. We have several packages available and the prices are out of this world.

Can I Delete My Hits Surf Account?

Yes! There are several ways to delete your account from the Hits Surf System.

The first way of Deleting you Hits Surf Account is by Logging in the Members Area and looking for the link labeled “Delete Account” in the page Header. Clicking the link will take you to the account deleation page. You will need to submit your password before submitting the form data.

The second way of Deleting your Hits Surf Account is by clicking the link provided in the Daily Update E-mail. The link can be found towards the bottom of the e-mail message. Careful, using this link will wipe out all account data and permanatly ban your e-mail address here at Hits Surf. There will be nothing I can do to recover any of the deleted data. Depending on some circumstances, you may be asked for your password before this link will actually delete your account data.

When you are owed any money at all the preferred method of deleting your account is by contacting me via the Internal messaging system in the members area. I will do a review of your account and then you will be contacted about the payment due to you.
